As an ASSE high school exchange student in France, you’ll be placed with a carefully selected French host family located somewhere across the country. You may live in a suburban area near a major city or in a smaller town far from the usual tourist paths. While Paris is known around the world, many of the most memorable experiences happen in France’s regional communities—each with its own unique dialect, cuisine, local customs, and architectural charm.

Spending a high school year in France gives you the chance to fully immerse yourself in the language and culture, attend a local French high school, and experience daily life as locals do. The program cost includes:

• Round-trip international airfare from New York to Europe and South Africa, from Miami to Brazil and Argentina, from Los Angeles to Asia/Pacific.

The program fee does not include:

• Domestic travel from home to international gateway city
