If you choose to study in Brazil for a semester, you’ll experience a vibrant and exciting snapshot of Brazilian life during one of the most dynamic times of the year. The fall semester covers Brazil’s spring and early summer, so expect warm weather, lively communities, and plenty of outdoor activities.

You’ll participate in school life, join classmates in after-school sports or music clubs, and enjoy relaxing afternoons at the park, beach, or local cafés. It’s also a season filled with cultural celebrations, from Brazilian Independence Day in September to festive holiday traditions in December, including Christmas and New Year’s Eve, often celebrated with fireworks on the beach.

Even in just a few months, you’ll build meaningful friendships. Brazilian teens are warm, inclusive, and sociable, making it easy to connect, especially when you’re open to joining in!

The program cost includes:

• Round-trip international airfare from New York to Europe and South Africa, from Miami to Brazil and Argentina, from Los Angeles to Asia/Pacific.

The program fee does not include:

• Domestic travel from home to international gateway city
