The ASSE Summer Immersion Program in Taiwan is the perfect mix of cultural exploration and relaxed daily life—without school schedules or long-term commitment. You’ll live with a warm and welcoming Taiwanese host family and share in their everyday summer life.

From early morning market strolls and night market adventures to homemade dumplings and family dinners, you’ll experience Taiwan from the inside. You’ll pick up Mandarin naturally—through conversation, not textbooks—and get a true taste of local customs, foods, and traditions. Because it’s summer, there’s more time to explore and connect. You might join your host siblings at a local festival, hang out with their friends, or experience outdoor fun like swimming, hiking, or biking through scenic landscapes.
