You’ll celebrate traditional holidays like Lunar New Year, Lantern Festival, Dragon Boat Festival, and Tomb Sweeping Day, as well as Mid-Autumn barbecues and even local versions of Christmas and Valentine’s Day—all while bonding with your host family and friends.

Throughout the seasons, you’ll see life shift—from cherry blossoms in spring to bustling night markets in summer and cozy festivals in the winter. High school in Taiwan offers a blend of structure, community, and discovery that’s both different from the U.S. and incredibly rewarding. Outside the classroom, there’s time for fun—whether it’s grabbing bubble tea with friends or exploring temples, museums, and nature spots.
