A semester in Mongolia gives you a concentrated dose of adventure, culture, and connection. You will arrive in time to witness the crisp beauty of autumn on the steppe followed by the transition into the deep, snowy magic of winter. Each season comes with its own traditions, from cozying up with hot milk tea and “buuz” (steamed dumplings) in the colder months to joining outdoor gatherings and local festivals when the weather allows.

Even in just a few months, you’ll become part of the rhythm of daily life, helping with family tasks, joining friends after school, and discovering the balance between Mongolia’s rich traditions and its modern, evolving culture.

The program cost includes:

• Round-trip international airfare from New York to Europe and South Africa, from Miami to Brazil and Argentina, from Los Angeles to Asia/Pacific.

• Comprehensive health, accidental death, and travel insurance

• Host family recruitment and screening

• Enrollment in a local high school and mandatory school fees

The program fee does not include:

• Domestic travel from home to international gateway city

• Passport and visa fees

• School uniform (if required)
