A high school year abroad in the Czechia is more than just an academic experience—it’s your chance to live like a local, embrace a new culture, and gain lifelong skills.

High school in Czechia, called “střední škola”—offers a more specialized academic experience than in the U.S. Students often choose a study track, such as humanities, science, economics, or technical studies, which shapes the subjects they take. You may also notice smaller class sizes and a greater focus on self-discipline. It’s a great opportunity to immerse yourself in a new educational approach while improving your Czech and developing new skills. Czech teens often spend time playing sports like soccer or floorball, meeting at local cafés, or going to music and film festivals. You might join a local club or activity and make friends who will introduce you to their favorite spots and traditions.

This year-long adventure will help you experience Czech culture up close: from outdoor festivals and local cafés to weekend hikes and castles that feel straight out of a fairy tale.

The program cost includes:

• Round-trip international airfare from New York to Europe and South Africa, from Miami to Brazil and Argentina, from Los Angeles to Asia/Pacific.

• Domestic travel from home to international gateway city
