With ASSE’s summer abroad program, you won’t just visit, you’ll live like a local, joining an Estonian host family for everyday life, weekend trips, and summer adventures.

During your six-week stay, you’ll get a real taste of Estonian culture through traditional foods like “rosolje” (beet and potato salad), “kohuke” (sweet curd snacks), and fresh local berries. You may help with summer traditions like berry-picking or gardening and enjoy long evenings where the sun barely sets.

Estonian teens often spend summer hanging out at the beach, relaxing in saunas, playing volleyball, or enjoying time outdoors with friends.
