The ASSE summer abroad program lets you live like a local, not just visit. Whether you’re just starting to learn Finnish or simply curious about the culture, this program is a great introduction to life in one of the world’s most unique and beautiful countries.

You’ll stay with a volunteer Finnish host family and join in their everyday summer traditions—from cozy evenings at a lakeside cottage to hiking, biking, and enjoying the midnight sun. As a typical exchange student, you might swim in crystal-clear lakes, try Finnish sauna culture, attend summer festivals, or even join your host family on a weekend getaway.

Cost – $9,600 USD  

The program cost includes:
