Summer Language Camp in Antibes, France – 4 Weeks

Located on the stunning Côte d’Azur near Nice, Cannes, and the Italian border, Antibes is a picturesque seaside town with a rich history. Originally a Greek fortified settlement named Antipolis and later a Roman town, Antibes is now a lively and charming destination popular with both French and international visitors. The beauty of the “old town” remains intact—with its sea-facing ramparts, cobbled streets, colorful bistros, and bustling Provençal market all set against a backdrop of medieval architecture.
ASSE’s summer language immersion program in France – this is for the Summer Language Camp offers high school students a unique chance to live with a local French host family and experience the culture from the inside out. You’ll attend morning French language classes five days a week, taught by native instructors who welcome all levels. Your host family will be based in Antibes or neighboring Juan-les-Pins—two towns that together form a single vibrant community.
Beyond the classroom, you’ll explore more of southern France through organized excursions to nearby destinations like the Lérins Islands, historic towns, and even Aquasplash, a popular water and adventure park. Outdoor afternoon activities such as windsurfing, kayaking, and beach days add even more excitement to your stay. And if you’re there in July, you’ll get to experience the world-famous International Jazz Festival—a highlight of the local summer scene.
A high school summer abroad in France is more than just a trip—it’s an unforgettable blend of education, adventure, and true cultural immersion on the Mediterranean coast.
