You’ll stay with a caring Slovak host family and join in their summer rhythm: family dinners, day trips, community celebrations, and slow evenings filled with laughter. Many Slovak families spend weekends hiking, biking, or visiting family in the countryside, and you’ll be invited to come along. You might attend a summer concert at Old Town Hall, wander up to Bratislava Castle for panoramic views, or enjoy a lazy afternoon at one of the city’s many cozy cafés.

This is also the perfect chance to begin learning the Slovak language naturally, through casual conversations, games, cooking together, and day-to-day experiences.
