As a study abroad student in Turkey, you’ll attend a local high school and experience a structured yet social learning environment. Classes typically run from early morning to mid-afternoon, covering subjects like math, sciences, history, literature, and foreign languages (often English or German).

Turkish students are friendly, curious, and eager to welcome international classmates. While academics are important, there’s also a strong sense of community, classmates often stay together for multiple years, building lifelong friendships. Outside of lessons, you might join a pick-up soccer game, a study group, or an afternoon wandering through a bustling bazaar. By the end of your stay, these shared experiences will feel like the heart of your year in Turkey.

The program cost includes:

• Round-trip international airfare from New York to Europe and South Africa, from Miami to Brazil and Argentina, from Los Angeles to Asia/Pacific.

• Domestic travel from home to international gateway city
