A semester in Turkey is filled with cultural and seasonal highlights. In the fall, you begin your studies just as the weather invites evening walks – some might even be along the beautiful Bosporus or scenic seaside promenades. You’ll experience Republic Day in October, when streets and schools are adorned with flags, music fills the air, and communities come together for lively celebrations. You’ll also get to celebrate New Year’s Eve with beautifully decorated “New Year trees,” a beloved Turkish tradition. Autumn is also perfect for exploring ancient ruins, colorful bazaars, and regional food festivals with your host family.

During your stay, you’ll savor traditional dishes like “dolma” and “kebap”, join in leisurely tea times, and explore local cafés with classmates. Every day offers a deeper connection to Turkish culture, from festive holidays to simple family traditions that make this country such a welcoming place for exchange students.

The program cost includes:
